Bishop House Coffee and Tea is here.

Though the setting, service, and aesthetic are key ingredients to a proper coffee or tea experience (we specialize in beautiful stemware, after all), the coffee bean and tea leaf are, respectively, the foundation of each. Whether you consider your tastes those of a commoner or connoisseur, optimal enjoyment begins at the source.

As avid drinkers of coffee and tea alike, we've enjoyed years of slow mornings, relaxed evenings, and intensive tastings to find the most expressive and enjoyable coffees and teas fit for a variety of tastes and occasions.

While we'll continue to test, trial, and enjoy options from around the globe (it's a rigorous job but someone's got to do it), we collaborated with an esteemed roaster and our favorite purveyor of fine teas to offer three coffees and three teas for purchase from our shop. We believe them to be the most balanced, flavorful, and exquisite of their kind, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

No. 1: A Medium Roasted Wholebean Coffee
Composed of top quality Central and South American beans, the No. 1 is a classically-flavored coffee with notes of rich chocolate, caramel, and a hint of toasted nuts. Each batch is medium roasted, making it well-suited for every brewing style.

No. 2: A Light Roasted Wholebean Coffee
Hand harvested from Guatemala, the No. 2 graces the palate with flavors of peach pie and caramel. Sweet, silky, and sensual, this is the perfect coffee to start your day. Each batch is light roasted for drip and press alike.

No. 3: A Light Roasted Wholebean Coffee
Grown high up in the Guji region of Ethiopia at 2000-2300m, the No. 3 is redolent of sweet strawberry with cola undertones and just a hint of loquat. Each batch is light roasted for drip and press alike.

No. 4: A South Indian Black Tea
This light-bodied black tea comes from the Seethargundu Estate in the Nelliyampathi foothills of the Blue Mountains (Nilgiris) in Kerala, a state in Southern India. Nilgiri brews a mellow liquor with a clean, fruity finish. Its low astringency and pleasant, non-cloudy appearance make it ideal for iced tea.

No. 5: A Hand Rolled Chinese Green Tea
Jasmine Pearls are hand-rolled young Chinese green tea leaves, generally from Fujian Province. Fresh and sensual, the No. 5 offers a heady, floral scent and flavor and can be steeped up to 3 times.

No. 6: A Lemon Hibiscus Decaf Herbal Tea
Wind down the evening with our favorite decaf tea. With a refreshing blend of hibiscus, lemongrass, lemon balm, and lemon myrtle, the No. 6 is a fruity, tart, and floral brew
